Two-Edge - Son of Troll (Smelt) and Glider (Winnowill)
Master Builder, Blacksmith
Two-Edge is the half-troll, half-elf son of Winnowill and a troll, named Smelt.
He is an ingenious mastersmith and inventor, teacher to the trolls, and Grohmul Djun's "Master Builder" during the "Shards"
series. Immortal, he has already lived for many thousands of years. Like Timmorn, Two-Edge is unique on the World of Two Moons.
A half-elf, half-troll hybrid abused as a child by his mother, Winnowill, Two-Edge was devastated when she killed his father,
Smelt. Driven to madness, Two-Edge's desperate love/hate relationship with his mother has caused him to be torn between helping
and hindering the Wolfriders on many occasions. Nothing gets in the way of Two-Edge and his grand schemes: he will lure, deceive,
prod, and even kidnap to force his hapless pawns to play their parts "right." Two-Edge is the a legendary metalsmith among
the trolls, unsurpassed at invention and weaponry.
There have been three stabilizing factors in Two-Edge's life: Ekuar, Leetah, and Venka. Leetah, the
healer of elf, human and troll alike, was able to grant him some small measure of sanity. Two-Edge's love for Venka has given
him a purpose in life, offering him an alternative to his games - especially now that the target of so many of those games,
his mother Winnowill, is no longer there to torment and be tormented. There is some question as to what became of Two-Edge
after the Djun's War. Venka led a group of Go-Backs on a search to find Kahvi, with Two-Edge accompanying his "gentle maiden."

Sunstream - son of Leetah (SunFolk)
and Cutter (Wolfrider)
Twin Brother of Ember, grandson of Toorah and Sun Toucher, Student of Savah
Soulname - Klynn
Sunstream is the gentle, enigmatic son of Cutter and Leetah. He gets his name from his butter-yellow hair. Although a Wolfrider,
Suntop was born in the Sun Village and considers it home. Content that his twin sister, Ember, is destined to become chief
of the Wolfriders, he says calmly, "I'll be what I'll be." Sunstream has powers unrivaled by any other elf. His "magic feelings,"
as he calls them, tell him whether someone is performing magic or if something has been manipulated by magic. Savah, his loving
mentor, has helped him expand the limits of his magical powers. Indeed, she sees great promise in his abilities, prophesying
that Sunstream will eventually help other elves send through him, thereby granting perfect communion for all elves in the
world.
Sunstream is constantly trying to get rid of his image of being a "child." Though his convictions are strong, as are his
attempts to find his place in the world, Sunstream is easy to get along with and makes friends readily, counting Jethel and
Chot among his closest companions. After his adventures with his compatriots in the Forevergreen Forest, Sunstream returned
to live with his parents at the site of the original Father Tree Holt where he searched out the bad magic, cleansed it, and
helpped to raise the Father tree. Not long after returning to his father's birth Holt, he put himself into wrapstuff to finish
his teachings. While asleep, he found the Wavedancers, and Recognized Brill. When he was cut free he had grown taller. He
asked his father if he could go and meet Brill and her tribe. Cutter granted this for his son and he met Brill, fullfilling
the recognition. He had to leave her behind in her watery world to live in the palace but promised to visit her again.
Venka - Go-Back (Kahvi) and SunFolk
(Rayek) - For info, see Wolfriders
Windkin - Son of Dewshine (wolfrider)
and Tyldak (Glider),
Lifemate of Ahdri
Glider, Explorer, was mortal naw Immortal
Windkin is the son of Dewshine and Tyldak, though he considers Scouter his true sire. While bearing
no animosity towards Tyldak, Windkin simply does not think of him as a father. Growing up in the Sun Village, Windkin felt
it to be his true home, though of late, he has drawn away from the Sun Villagers. A "breed apart, kin to the wind," Savah
said of him. Windkin's personality is slightly reminiscent of Rayek's, with the same "against the grain" traits, and he evidences
disdain for the other members of his tribe.
Windkin was originally born a Wolfrider with both wolf blood and a Wolfrider's soul name. When he was
still an infant, Aroree kidnapped him and brought him to Blue Mountain, where Winnowill genetically removed his wolf blood,
rendering him immortal.
Windkin rarely stands on firm ground, preferring to float above it. At Door's request, Windkin returned
to the Sun Village but found it deserted, with the soul of his lifemate, Ahdri, absorbed into the rocks. Shattered by her
death, Windkin's history ends in enigma. It is speculated that Windkin is the elf sealed in wrapstuff behind the Sun Symbol
(which was discovered centuries later by The Rebels). Right now he is helping Wavecatcher find Yun.
