The Hunt, The Others and the Firstborn
The Hunt was the name given to the early groups of Timmorn's descendants
who embraced their wolfen side, The Pureblooded elves being known the the Hunt as the Others. The
Hunt Comprised the premier hunters of the elf-wolf tribe, and always ate first, as was their right.The Hunt mated within their
group, with the Others, and with true wolves, resulting in many misborn children who did not survive their "milk days". Strength
and success were the traits they valued; thought they lived longer then true wolves, they were mortal.
Some members of the hunt were unable to speak or send. For members of the Hunt names were given more
often then they were found, and changed as they were willed; only those of the hunt who were important (ie: high in rank)
were given names and rarely, if ever, changed them.
Childrern of at least one Pureblood were called Firstborn, and were
neither of the Hunt or the Others. At birth, Timmorn would take the child
in his arms and determine if a child was of the Hunt, a Firstborn - or even had a chance of survival. A great deal of mistrust
existed between the Hunt, The Others and the Firstborn.
After the Split, when the Hunt left the Others and the Firstborn, The Hunt
stopped sending and used audible language, as did their wolf brothers.
