Kahvi - Daughter of Twospear (D), Lovemate to Tyldak
and Vok, Mother of Vaya (D), Venka and Teir

(Often absent) Chief of the Go-Backs, warrior, and huntress
Kahvi is the fiery, often absent leader of the Go-Backs. As revealed to her during the Egg-induced
Dream Hunt, she is the child of the Wolfrider chief Two-Spear. She spent hundreds of years in suspended animation in a magical
pool of water and has only recently learned of her true heritage. Extremely stubborn and quick to anger, she is nevertheless
a decisive and aggressive leader.
Her mistrust of "fish-poking" magic, however, didn't keep her from being attracted to Rayek and becoming his lovemate.
But as usual with Kahvi there was an ulterior motive. After carrying his child for two years, she told him a deliberate lie
that the cub had died at birth. The cub, Venka, had indeed lived and was indeed Rayek's. Considering how much Kahvi hates
farewells, she has left the Go-Backs countless times, her thirst for trophies and prizes for the lodge unquenchable. She sought
the Palace of the High Ones, the Little Palace, the Egg of Six Spheres, and even a cub from Cutter. In the end, she embraced
her Wolfrider heritage and bonded with a wolf. Kahvi's known history ends here. After the Djun's War, Venka, Aroree and Two-Edge
set out to find her - if she still lives.
She has had three children that we know of - Vaya, Venka, and we
just found out recently Tier. The only one we know who the father is is Rayek, other wise
we only know of her lovemates - Vok and Tyldak.
Urda - (Deceased) Kahvi's Second in command
Silent Second, Sub-Chief for Kahvi
Urda was Kahvi's silent second in command. During Rayek's attack on the Go-Backs, Urda risked her
life in an attempt to save Venka from the collapsing Go-Back lodge, but was struck by falling debris. Later, Kahvi left her
as sub-chief when seeking Rayek. Urda's hunting party was ambushed by trolls; taken undergound, she is presumed dead.
Vok - Kahvi's lover

Mardu - Kahvi's friend and secon in comand
Kahvi's Second, Confidant
Mardu assumed Urda's place as tribe-second when Urda was presumed killed. Mardu tried to talk Kahvi
out of traveling to Blue Mountain to retrieve a trophy, believing strongly that the Go-backs needed Kahvi herself, not a trophy,
to return them to what they once were. Unable to convince Kavi, Mardu accepted leadership of the tribe when her chief left
for Blue Mountain.
Returning with the little egg, Kahvi was surorised and delighted to find Mardu pregnant. As Kahvi's
long time confidant, it was solely to Mardu that Kahvi revealed the truth of ther wolf blood befor searching for Cutter. Setting
out for Thorny Mountain holt Kahvi once again left Mardu in charge of the tribe. Mardu's child was three years old before
Kahvi finally returned not with the trophy, but with a wolf friend.
Zey - Deceased
Chief (for a little while) of the Go-Backs
He became chief of the Go-Backs after Urda and her hunting party was ambushed by trolls. An oppertunist,
Zey cared little about the little Palace save for its ability to solidify his position as chief. He knew that if he agreed
to try for it's capture and Kahvi was killed in the attempt, his status was secure; but it was vital that Kahvi not return
to the Go-Backs a hero, Zey plotted with Chot to steal the little Palace from her during the raid. In the second raid on the
Sun Village, Zey was supprised to learn that Kahvi was still alive - but the knowledg came to late to save him: Kahvi
killed him without hesitation.

Chot - Friend of Suntop and Zey (D), Infatuated with
Shen-Shen

Lazy trouble maker, guard, and advisor
Chot is, in one word, a glutton. He's always either eating food or getting it tossed at him, and is
notorious for eating more than three times his share. Chot is a legend in his own mind, his opinion of his own fighting ability
being very high. He is, however, the only one that feels that way, and is frustrated time and again by others', shall we say,
lack of vision. Chot's other talent, besides eating, is complaining, and he works hard at being a thorn in everyone's side.
Even his Go-Back-given talents are mediocre: he is boisterous, a terrible dancer, and an even worse singer, though it does
not stop him from performing at every opportunity. It must be admitted, however, that under his rough exterior may lie untapped
depths. After the Forevergreen Forest adventure, Chot followed Jethel to Passage and now acts as his advisor.
Vaya - Daughter of Kahvi, Lover of Pike
Daughter of Kahvi, Warrior
Vaya was a fierce,loyal,and as strong willed as her mother Kahvi. She struck a cord with Pike, fighting
with him side by side against the trolls. Like Pike, Vaya loved and fought with equal fervor and was not afraid to admit she
was afraid. She stayed to the last, defending the retreat of the elves and their new troll allies - but not before one last
argument with her mother. Kahvi was insistant on being the last warrior out, asking Vaya what she had to prove; Vaya's sharp
responce was "I proved myself to myself long ago." summarily stunning Kahvi and shoving her after the others. Vaya believed
that the privelage of the last man out was a warriors - not a chief's.
Haveing secured the retreat, Vaya could not save herself, and ended up captured by the trolls. Her
last couragouse act, when hauled to the troll's throne chamber, was to make an attempt on Guttlekraw's life. The illfated
bid brought immediate death, but gained her the prize they had all sought: as she died, her soul - like all elfin souls on
the World of Two Moons - Flew to the Palace.
Ekuar- Friend of Mekda (D) and Osek
(D), Teacher of Rayek
Rock-shaper, advisor, and firstborn of the High Ones
Ekuar is a rock shaper who had been enslaved by the Frozen Mountain Trolls for centuries. Captured
as a child, his spirit and body both chipped away by his harsh treatment at their hands. Ekuar lost one arm, one finger, and
one leg below the knee as a result of his cruel treatment at the hands of the trolls. Ekuar is able to walk with the aid of
a wooden leg and a wooden staff and amazingly, despite this brutal treatment, he maintains a peaceful and cheerful personality.
When Rayek found Ekuar in the bowels of Greymung's caverns, he was a huddled in a dank hole, muttering
to himself. Rayek restored Ekuar's strength; in return Ekuar helped Rayek extend his magical powers. A bond formed between
teacher and student which was more like father to son. Although not truly a Go-Back, he did spend several years living among
them. At the end of the Djun's War, with Rayek the walking prison for Winnowill's restless spirit, Ekuar accompanied him on
his journey. They wandered the World of Two Moons for years, Ekuar's friendship the one bright spark in Rayek's harrowing
trek into the future.
