Timmorn Yellow Eyes is the son of a Highone (Timmain) and a true wolf. Timmain shapchanged into a
wolf and mated with one in order to make the next generation strong enough to survive.
Timmorn inherited the ability to shapechange and depending on his mood, or the song he fallows at
the moment, he is either more elf or more wolf. He has recognized and mated with quite a few elfs both full blood and not
full blood and has had quite a few children with each of them. He finally left his tribe and left his favorite cub, Rahnee,
in charge.

Valloa was a pureblooded elf that fancied herself a huntress. During a hunt she recognized Timmorn

Second chief of the Wolfriders, Huntress
Rahnee is the second chief of the Wolfriders. She was chosen because she was the favorite of Timmorn.
Like her father she was caught between two worlds. She was neither Hunt nor Other, but Timmorn considerd
her the strongest of his children. She spent most of her time liveing in the now of wolf thought, haveing to be brought out
of it by her lifemate Zarhan. He was her balance. Her elfiness when the wolf took over. Rahnee set down rules for her tribe,
primarily for hunting "Never in jest or the lust of the hunt...Never with cruelty or meanness. And never a mother
with young if there's another choice to be made." It was under her leadership that the pack became true wolfriders.
She brought back the first wolfpack (given to her by Timmorn) to bond with the elves and was herself the first to bond with
a wolf.
After a hunting accident she was presumed dead, but was acctually found and being nursed
back to health by a group of four young elves that were part of Trickster's Clan. There she recognized Merolen.
Zarhan Fast Fire - Son of Enlet, Lifemate to Rahnee,
Recognized to many including Cheseri from Tricksters Clan, Father of Ice, Cat, PreyPacer, Fowler, Penda,
Kreeanne, and Anya

The youngest of the Purebloods, Fitting into neither the Wolfriders or the other pure elves."The
greatest exile of them all." He drew Rahnee back to her elfin side when the wolfsong called to strongly. Zarhan recognized
Rahnee severall times though he also recoginized many others.He was the only pureblood to accompany the firstbornes on their
initioal hunt after Three-Toe the Father and the Hunt disappeared.
He became known as Fastfire by the Hunt, not only because of his sunset hair, but also because
of his firestarting magic he inherited from his father.

Third Chief of the Wolfriders, Telepathic towards animals
The Third Chief of the Wolfriders. His origonal name was Prunepitt to mark his use of them in his
sling shot, he was last of Rahnee and Zarhan's children.He had trouble mentally communicating with other elves, often sending
and recieving garbled messages; his telepathy was better with animals. His affinity allowed him to defeat the allos who had
invaded Wolfrider territory. After naming himself chief, Prey-Pacer admitted he did not have all the answers, and would not
make a major decision without first seeking out the advise of his tribe.
Wreath - Prey-Pacer's Recognized mate, Mother of Skyfire
Soulname - Aiyse
A very beautfull elf, the object of desire. often flirtatious, she was discribed as "Brave, Beautfull,
and cold," her heart being formed of,"extremely pretty ice." Wreath was selfish, acting solely in her own interest. Her recognition
of Prey-Pacer was shoking to her, and for many years, the truth about her childs sire - Later known as Huntress Skyfire -
was kept a secret.
Softfoot - Prey-Pacer's lifemate, mother of Spear/Two-Spear,
and Dove.
Soulname - Unknown
Wreath's opposite, Prey-Pacer's unrecognized Lifemate, was warm and understanding. Dark haired Softfoot
had been born with malformed feet; while theyd grown more normal over the years, she never became a good runner. Though devistated
when Prey-Pacer Recognized Wreath, Softfoot put her feeling aside and encouraged the union; She loved Prey-Pacer and his unborn
child, no matter who carried it, proving that love by saving wreath from an allo's charge. Softfoot's legs were maimed in
the attack.

Two-Spear - Lifemate to Willowgreen, Father of Kahvi

Fourth Chief of the Wolfriders, Ancester of the Go-Backs
A figure of great emotion and irrational drives. While the legond portrays him as consumed with hatred
for humans, it is unclear whether this dark passion existed befor the death of blackmane, his wolf friend: we have seenonly
rare glimpses of a kinder, happier Swift-Spear. During his childhood his relationship with his half-sister was that of mentor
and protector.
Two-Spear tool his new name in commemoration of his combat to revenge Blackmane's death. Along with
his usual stone tipped, fur wrapped, spear, he began carrying a metal-tipped spear taken from a human, Kerthan, after Two-Spear
killed him. Constantly at odds with his father, Prey-Pacer, caring for nothing but hunting, it was said of young swift-spear
that he had a Chief's soul, but not a chief's head...
Two-Spear and half sister Skyfire were at odds about vertually every aspect of life. When Two-Spear
forced his ways, Skyfire challenged him for the leadership of the Wolfriders; though Two-Spear won, critically wounding his
half sister, he never the less left with his fallowers.
Willowgreen - Daughter of Rellah, Lifemate of Two-Spear,
Recognized to Greywolf, Mother of Kahvi
Soulname - Tyr
She was a timid and passive healer. Born in Rahnee's time, divers oppinions hold her to have been
devoid of all wolf blood, or, at most, a halfling with much more elf influence then wolf. She was not at first accepted by
the pack of wolves, and, she in turn, feared them.
Willowgreen lost her fear of wolves during an encounter with a human named Shyana and the wolf
One-Ear. She met them after an accidant that nearly cost her her life and the human-wolf pair nursed her back to health.After
Shyana's death, One-Ear bonded with Willowgreen and became Windwalker.
The relationship between Two-Spear and WIllowgreen was strained at best. Two-Spear mellowed when
Willowgreen was with child. Willowgreen recognized Greywolf, but kept it a secret.

The Fifth chief of the Wolfriders, Huntress, Founder of the "Way"
She was the child of recognition between Preypacer and Wreath, Therfore the rightful heir to the
chief's lock. She let it be and let Twospear lead until he beacame crazy and obsessed with the humans.She chalenged her brother
for chieftainship and lost, almost dieing in the process. The tribe ended up splitting and Twospears fallowers went with
him elswhere. She led the wolfriders away and never saw her brother again.
Dreamsinger -Lifemate to Skyfire, father of Nightsong
Soulname - Kyr
Was a stranger to the Wolfriders. Recognized to Skyfire he neither spoke nor sent to her, only
sang.After the initial joining he left. It took Skyfire a long time to find him again, and even then it cost her three chalenges
to gain him entrence to the tribe. His time with the Tribe was short. He wsa murderd by Stonthrower, who
later tried to take Skyfire's life as well. Song, Dreamsingers former wolf friend, stopped him by killing
him.

to Two-Shaddows, Father of Tanner, Fangslayer, Feather, Longoak, and Hawkcatcher.

The Sixth Chief of the Wolfriders, Hunter, Wanderer
Freefoot liked to wander. He spent a lot of time away from his tribe just exploreing. He would "Rather
wander around then be their chief." That is how he found Two-Shaddows, The Goatrider, and Recognized her.
He promised to return but never did and she ended up dieing, leaveing thier son, Hawkcatcher behind wanting revenge for
his mothers death. Freefoot eventually found his way back to the forgotten place and faced his son, in combat, killing him.
Freefoot died saveing cubs from a lightning strike, getting struck himself instead.
Starflower - Lifemate of Freefoot, Mother of Feather,
Long Oak, Fangslayer, and Tanner

Starflower was lifemate to Freefoot and mother to his children. Starflower was striken with a high
fever and nearly killed by an invading snakes.

The Seventh Chief of the Wolfriders, Tanner, Gatherer
Tanner Discovered how to make soft leathers for the wolfriders whene a human they called Liftleg
peed on his leather for a whole turn of the seasons, but when he tried to duplicate it he went throug h a lot of trial and
errors before finding the right solution again. He led the wolfriders through about 800 years of peacfull times. In fact he
barely led at all. He spent most of his time with his leathers condumed by a dream of what they should be: thin, soft supple
and many-colored on the one hand, thick and hard to be used in battle on the other hand, and hardly any with the tribe
itself. He recognized Stormlight while she was still quite young and hadn't found her soulname yet. She immediatly went out
to find it and when she came back joined with him. She gave him a cub, but proceded to be lovemate with someone els for a
long time before finnaly comeing back to Tanner. They never really got along, and there daughter Goodtree felt it in her relationship
with them.
He had a talent for bonding to animals. He had a nature more like the Highones then a wolfrider,
was a reluctant warrior, a fair hunter, and a tracker of limited skill. Dislikeing the need to kill, rarely riding his wolf
friend, He was the gentelest of the twelve chiefs and for more then seven hundred years took neither lovemate or lifemate.
Stormlight - Lifemate to Tanner, Mother of Goodtree

Her parents were killed in a hunting accident and she was tribe raised. When she recognized Tanner
she did not know her soulname. She didn't even realize it was recognition. Tanner promised to wait until she was ready, to
give her all the freedom she needed. almost emediatly Staormlight pursued her spirit quest, but returned not truely knowing
her soulname, haveing caught it''s sound, but not the deeper meaning. She had many lovemates, including , but always went
back to Tanner.
Because of Stormlight's youth, Goodtree's birth was not easy.It took Stormlight a long time to recover
and she was not abil to nurse Goodtree. This arrangement esstranged Stormlight from her daughter for amny years. She finnally
agreed to be Tanner's lifemate and spent many years trying to reconcile with her daughter,Ironically, Stormlight found her
soulname and mended things with her family the same day she died.

Goodtree did not want to be chief after her fathers death. It took a lot of talking her into it and
her finding her soulname before she decided to do it. She was lovemates with both Lionleaper and Acorn finding gentelness
in one and strength in the other, until she recognized Lionleaper. Acorn had to force them to complete the recognition before
they both got sick. He ended up wrighting a song for them, and treeing with them.
Lionleaper - Lifemate of Goodtree, Father of Speedwell
and Mantricker

Initially Lionleaper had little use for Acorn. He was ever envious of the mental link between Goodtree
and Acorn. He recognized Gootree after an injury to the ris that left him unable to answer the call right away. He and Goodtree
faught the call of recognition out of respect for Acorn, wo in the end made them join.
Acorn - Son of Songshaper and Stringsong, Threemated
withe Goodtree and Lionleaper
Soulname - Mergin/Mirj
Adept at playing the bone-flute, whistle, and bone-harp. Goodtree felt there was a kind of magic
in his songs. A mental link existed between him and his chief enabling him to fallow her during her spirit quest. He
was upset that Lionleaper an Goodtree recognized, but he treed with them anyway and was also called liefmate.

Mantricker - Son of Goodtree and Lionleaper, Brother
of Speedwell, Lifemate to Thornflower, Lovemate to Brightwater, Father to Bearclaw.
Soulname - Coyte
The Nineth Chief of the Wolfriders, Tricker of Men, Hunter
Mantricker got his name from all of the tricks he played on the humans. He recognized Thornflower
and lifemated with her even though she could not stand him for the longest time. He died from a spear to the ribs. He had
alongstanding friendship with his human counterpart - Demontricker.
Mantricker attempted to scare the humans away by steling thier weapons, spooking their game, and
sprining their traps. When that did not work he stole a child from their camp and lured them into the forest.When the
tribe tracked him down Mantricker cut the childs face as they watched. Enraged, the humans threw spears at Mantricker as he
fled, One of them hitting him in his side. Hia wolf friend pulled the spear out, and he got back to the tribe just in time
to admit his folly to his son Bearclaw and die.
Thornflower - Lifemate to Mantricker, Mother of Bearclaw

Thornflower was barely civil to Mantricker before recognition occurred. For years an utter irritant
to her chief, Thornflower incessantly argued and contradicted him during councils while ignoreing him the rest of the time.
During a rescue mission, recognition struck.

Bearclaw is the most popular chief next to Cutter. He had a name before Bearclaw but it is unknown
at this time. He gave himself the name Bearclaw because of his ability to hunt bear. He lost himself in the troll tunnels
playing dice quite often, and never comeing out of the ground without a hangover. He always did things the way he wanted unless
Joyleaf could talk him out of it first. She kept him grounded when he wanted to fly off the handel. When Joyleaf was killed
he went on a suicide mission to kill the Beast that killed her and his friends Foxfur, Lonbranch, Brownberry and Rain. The
Beast was called Madcoil, and it ended up killing him as well. Leaving Cutter as chief at a young age.
Joyleaf - Sister to Treestump, Lifemate to Bearclaw,
Mother of Cutter
Soulname - Dhel
Bearclaw's opposite in all the best ways. Both were highly involved in Cutter's raising, they had
markedly different parenting skills: Joyleaf displeased when Cutter took uneccisary risk, Wheras Bearclaw waited for the outcome
to see if a reprimand was needed.
