Adya was the Eyes of the Highones. Choosing where they should go. First one to be killed by the humans whaen the Palace landed on the world of Two-Moons. If Timmain would have chosen a Lifemate it would have been him

 

Timmain was the Memory of the High Ones. Remembering their Past, and the progenitor of the Wolfriders. When the elves "force landed" on Abode, she became provider, protector, and leader. Only Timmain mastered the art of tapping into the forces native to Abode, working to "sing into wholeness the crippled powers of her brethren." Timmain embraced nature's many forms, and shapechanged into many of the plants and animals of their new world. When world and weather grew harsher still, she sought aid from those who first taught her to hunt - the wolves.

The Ancient ancestress of the Wolfriders who suddenly and shockingly reveals herself to them at the end of the troll war as a true highone, Timmain long ago took the form af a she wolf and has lived as one for thousands of uears. Although she can acknowledge the Wolfriders as her decendants, Timmain is not one of them. Her stay with them is to brief for that. She reveals to them the secrets of their past and then seals herselfaway forever within the Palace that was the origon place of the Highones. It seems only fitting, since she has been so much a part of the past, that she at last joins it physically as well.

Though it is hinted that Timmain may have Recognized Aerth and borne him an unnamed daughter, it is her son, Timmorn Yellow-Eyes, who was the child of change. Fathered by a true wolf, thus infusing wolf blood into the elfin line that would create the Wolfriders, Timmorn was brought as a young cub to his mother's people, after which Timmain disappeared, not to be seen again until her descendants found and recovered the Palace. Timmain considered both the wolves and the elves to be her children. Her fate now seems very much wrapped up in her progeny, most especially Skywise. There is speculation that the two are destined to Recognize.

 

 

Aerth was the Ears of the Highones. Knowing why they should go. He was in love with Timmain and missed her terribly when she weht away with the wolves.

 

 

Gibra was the Highones Caution. Holding them Back. After giving birth, she left the rest of the group in searh of Haken, to show him the new baby. She is more then likely the mother of the Gliders.

 

 

Kaslin was the Ship of the Highones. Protecting them through Space. She was also a Plantshaper and shaped dwellings for them on the new world.

 

 

Kalil was the Motion for the Highones, Propeling them through Space.

 

 

Sefra was the Timekeeper of the Highones, Knowing When they should go.

 

 

Deir was the Balance of the Highones. Giving order to all of their choices. He wanted to leave with Gibra to find Haken but she told him no.

 

 

Haken was the Passion of the Highones. Driving them forward. When the humans killed his friends he became enraged and went for revenge turning against even them. Timmain banished him and they never saw him again. Gibra went in search of him after she gave birth to a child. He is most likely the father of the Gliders, and relative of Winnowill.
